Tecnova Technology Centre promotes applied innovation and technology development so as to improve competitiveness and profitability of companies in the agribusiness sector.
We work with more than 300 companies that are committed to processes of change and innovation within their organizations and we do it with responsibility, flexibility and confidentiality.
Tecnova, as European cluster bringing together the main companies of the sector, works as a network to help them position themselves in the main international markets, by transferring knowledge and technology, promoting R&D and looking for funding lines.
Tecnova promotes applied innovation and technology development based on the knowledge gained at the national and international level, and brings value and competitiveness to companies in the agriculture auxiliary industry.
We provide services in the field of greenhouse technology, sensors and traceability related to the agribusiness sector.
Tecnova Technology Centre has 14 different sorts of greenhouse infrastructures for all types of trials.
We carry out services related to nutrition, microbiology, food safety, agriculture and plastic material.

Tecnova Technology Centre represents a great opportunity for addressing the current challenges of intensive agriculture by means of development, evolution, knowledge generation and optimisation of greenhouse intensive farming techniques.
Its main office is located in PITA (Almeria Science and Technology Park). It has more than 3.500 m2 of facilities distributed in: two pilot plants (4th range products and agri-food robotics), growing chambers for pre- and post-harvest, and laboratories of plastic film, food and shelf-life analysis, biotechnology and molecular biology.
The experimental centre has a surface area of 12.000 m2 available to carry out experimental trials, as well as to design and validate new products for agriculture. It has different types of greenhouse structures, growing chambers, portable cages and greenhouses, high-productivity areas, results transfer, product classification and agriculture waste management.
The Tecnova Technology Center is in charge of promoting applied innovation and technological development based on knowledge acquired at national and international level, providing value and competitiveness to companies in the auxiliary industry sector of agriculture and with the collaboration of all the agents involved in the process. It is present in 25 countries whose purpose is innovation and technological development, the transfer of technology and knowledge to be more competitive through innovation.
