The Foundation for Auxiliary Technologies for Agriculture (TECNOVA Foundation) was originated on January 9th, 2001, having as a goal the promotion, fomentation, cooperation and development of the economy in the Agriculture Auxiliary Industry field, being able to carry out primary and complementary activities as many as required, including research.
It has been registered in the Foundation Registry of the Social Affair Council since May 25th, 2001. In May 2003, it received its qualification as Technological Agent for the Employment Council and Technological Development, in the category of Innovation and Technology Center, integrated in the Andalusian Network of Innovation and Technology (RAITEC in Spanish) and associated with RETA.
During the year 2006, TECNOVA has asked the Andalusian Board its qualification as TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER and it has been granted in the 2007.
The working groups have been guided by the guidelines marked in the Strategic Plan of Almeria Agriculture Auxiliary Industry (2006-2010), in this way, adding the Strategic Plan goals to business interests and needs of the departments. During 2006, they have worked with the following working groups:
-Internationalization. -Formation. -I+D+I. -Promotion and diffusion of auxiliary Industry companies. -Strategic Plan of Agriculture Auxiliary Industry
