Training

The success of every agricultural project is based on the correct selection of the model to be applied in each specific area. The Technology used in each case has to agree with the different variables, productive as well as economic of the area where the project is going to be implemented. It is well-known, that the lack of coordination in the construction, production and management of an agricultural project causes big economic losses, in spite of having the most leading technology. In this sense, the Foundation TECNOVA is aware of the necessity to transmit all the knowledge, theoretical as well as practical that the project requires. An appropriate training, focused on the different sectors that make up the project, guarantees the success of the same    

The methodology used in the preparation of the courses, through different modules, offers the possibility of being trained or specialised only in those areas in which the Technical Expert and/or farmer have a lack of knowledge. It could be said that the courses have been prepared under a training concept called “Tailored courses”.   

General Training

• Design, organisation and implementation of formative actions intended for directors, managers and middle managers :

· Managerial skills.
· Strategic planning.
· Prevention, quality and environment.
· Management administration.
· E-learning, Virtual campus.

Agronomic Training

a) To train technicians who are able of covering the needs and requirements of world areas.
b) To make known the last technological advances in the intensive production field.
c) To improve the scientific-technological aptitude of each student.
d) To create a portfolio of specialised technicians in specific areas.
e) To create new technical trainers who show the knowledge acquired in these courses in the country of origin.

Methodology

The courses have been classified in different modules, so that the students who only need to be trained or specialised in concrete areas, are centred on clear and determined objectives.. 

The different modules have a theoretical and practical base.  Through the teaching practices, the student may develop and experience the theoretical concepts learnt in the classroom. For this purpose, the practices will be carried out in Research Centres, in companies which manufacture technology and in the land, through experienced farmers and land technicians of the area.

The contents of the courses have been developed focusing or giving more importance to those aspects in which the technicians and/or farmers have shown more interest, so that, when the courses end, they shall be able of valuating, executing and developing in situ, all the knowledge learnt in the course directly to real production cases.
